Secure your Passport XYZ with Outdid verification stamps. Outdid provides a robust way to verify your identity and protect against Sybil attacks using your government ID. Outdid scans the NFC chip of your passport and generates a Zero-Knowledge Proof that you are a unique human. Most importantly, all of your private data stays on your phone - not even Outdid can see it.

Before you start, make sure you have:

Networks you can use:

  • Ethereum Layer 1 (mainnet)

  • Optimism (Eth L2)

  • Avalanche (L1)

  • Arbitrum One (Eth L2)

  • Base (L2)

  • Fantom (L1)

  • Polygon zkEVM (L2)

Once you have your Passport and your mobile app ready, proceed to the next steps:

  1. Go to https://app.passport.xyz/ and "Sign in with Ethereum" to access your dashboard.

  2. Locate and click β€œConnect” on the Outdid stamp card in the Government IDs section

  3. Click Verify. You will be redirected to Outdid.io website where you will complete the steps

  4. On the page, select your country and select β€œPassport” as your document. Please note that not all countries’ documents are eligible for this verification. For a complete list of eligible countries, click here

  5. Scan the barcode on your smartphone and you’ll open a page that redirects you to the Outdid mobile app.

  6. In the app, you will be prompted to scan a portion of your passport. Follow the prompts from the app to verify your ID. Once completed, click β€œContinue” to proceed

  7. You will get a prompt that Passport has asked to prove yourself, click β€œApprove” to proceed

  8. Wait for the verification to be complete. It takes about a minute.

  9. Once completed, return to the passport browser window and confirm your account is now verified. You can confirm this by seeing the Verified text at the top right corner of the Outdid Stamp card.

If you encounter any issues during the process, Passport offers support through a chat window located at the bottom right corner of the page on the Passport app, as well as on many product pages.
